My path to patient advocacy wasn’t a straight line. It was shaped by personal experience, professional growth, and a deep commitment to making sure no one has to navigate the healthcare system alone.

Before founding Steadfast Advocacy, I spent my career first in marketing and then in the corporate world, developing the organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills that I now bring to every client I serve. However, it was my experience as a caregiver for a parent living with Parkinson’s disease that truly called me to this work. Accompanying them through the complexities of the healthcare system, I learned firsthand how overwhelming, confusing, and at times dehumanizing that journey can be. I also learned how much of a difference it makes to have someone in your corner who knows what questions to ask and what to look out for.

That experience inspired me to become a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA), a credential that reflects both in-depth knowledge, firsthand experience, and an ongoing commitment to excellence in the field. Today, I am proud to put those skills to work for individuals and families facing their own healthcare challenges.

While I work with clients of all kinds, I have a particular interest in supporting older adults and their families. I understand the unique complexities that come with aging, from navigating Medicare and Medicaid to researching housing options and ensuring that end-of-life wishes are clearly documented and respected. I know how much is at stake in these moments, and I bring both professional expertise and genuine compassion to every situation.
