I am a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA), Health & Wellness Coach, and founder of Purely Authentic Life, LLC. I help individuals and families navigate the healthcare system with greater clarity, confidence, and support—especially older adults, family caregivers, and those managing complex or ongoing healthcare needs.

My passion for patient advocacy grew from personal experience. As the mother of a son born with spina bifida who has undergone more than 50 surgeries, I spent years coordinating specialists, asking questions, navigating hospitalizations, and learning how important it is to have someone who understands the bigger picture. I also helped my mother manage multiple chronic health conditions and experienced the challenges that families face when appointments feel rushed, medications change, and communication between providers is fragmented.

Those experiences shaped the way I advocate today. I help clients prepare for medical appointments, organize and understand health information, communicate concerns and questions to their healthcare team, coordinate care among providers, explore available options and resources, and determine appropriate next steps. I can also provide support during healthcare transitions, hospitalizations, discharge planning, and decisions involving aging and long-term care.

My role is not to make healthcare decisions for my clients, but to help them become informed and empowered participants in their care. I listen to what matters most to each individual and family, help them ask the right questions, and work alongside them so they feel heard, prepared, and supported.

Healthcare can be complicated, but you do not have to navigate it alone. My goal is to bring clarity to the confusion, help clients advocate for what matters to them, and provide a steady, compassionate presence throughout their healthcare journey.
