Angela (“Angie”) Ingraham, MD, MS

Angela (“Angie”) Ingraham, MD, MS, completed medical school at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and general surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati. During residency, she completed the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Clinical Scholar in Residence Program where she supported the growth and development of the ACS National Surgical Quality Improvement Program, developed her research interests, and earned her Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from Northwestern University. She completed her fellowship in Acute Care Surgery (trauma, emergency general surgery, and critical care) at the University of Pittsburgh. Following fellowship, Dr. Ingraham joined the faculty of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and established a health services research program funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and the National Institute on Aging. While Angie has always been a dedicated advocate for her patients, her interest in health and patient advocacy intensified after serving as an advocate for her father, who passed from brain cancer in 2021.
